1 in 4 women will be victims of severe violence by an intimate partner in their lifetimes; 1 in 7 men will be victims of severe violence by an intimate partner in their lifetimes; men who were exposed to domestic violence as children are three to four times more likely to perpetuate intimate partner violence as adults than men who did not experience domestic violence as children; and domestic violence is the third leading cause of homelessness for families. In 2016, over 40 volunteers donated almost 700 hours in the following services:
